Abilities of the young pianist have been highly appreciated in due time by the most acute teachers. K.N.Igumnov has paid attention to the schoolgirl of school-desjatiletki at the Leningrad conservatory. Later, already in a student time, it has received A. B.Goldenvejzera's such words:" Galina Fedorova - the talented pianist with the defined, thoughtful, thin manner of game ". Has warmly concerned it and the professor L. V.Nikolaev at whom Fedorovoj was possible, truth, not for long, to be engaged during this period when the Leningrad conservatory has been evacuated to Tashkent. The further formation of its artistic shape passed under the direction of P.A.Serebryakov. On its class Galina Fedorova has ended in 1948 conservatory, and in 1952 and postgraduate study. Competitive successes of the pianist, and the beginning of its concert activity concern this time also. At first it has won the third award at competition of pianists of the World festival of democratic youth and students in Prague (1947), and then became the owner of the second award of the International competition of a name of Bach in Leipzig (1950).

In one of printing responses it was told, in particular:" Galina Fedorova played with concentration and simply, sincerity and severity is peculiar to it... It has proved to be the pianist well owning different musical styles ". Really, for many long years Galina Fedorova addressed to different layers of the piano literature. On its concert posters we find Bach, Mozart, Chopin names, Sheet, Brams and other authors. In the Small hall of the Leningrad philharmonic society and on other platforms it executed monographic бетховенскую the program. The actress invariably gives considerable attention to the Russian piano classics. With sense of style and hobby she plays Glinka, Balakirev, Tchaikovsky compositions, Rubinshtejna, Rakhmaninov, Glazunov... During the last years Galina Fedorova devotes a lot of time to pedagogical work in the Leningrad conservatory (since 1982 the professor).
