Muti opens the 2012/13 season

The Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s 2012/13 season opened in exciting fashion, with Respighi’s explosive Feste romane. A rarely heard symphony by Dvorák and a lovely miniature by Martucci precedes it. Mendelssohn’s delicate Italian Symphony closes the concert.
