    Dear Panovnik,
    You should not have posted these recordings. Whoever made them butchered them.
    All movements of Schubert's Piano Sonata No.14 are cut short and divided in a weird way.
    The same happens with the 6 Moments Musicaux and with Shostakovich Piano Sonata No.2.
    The only recoverable recordings are Prokofiev's Visions Fugitives and Ravel's Alborada del gracioso.
    Do you by any chance check the recordings before posting them?
    It could help doing so.

    Уже уничтожено много великих записей!!!
    Может и оригинала этой записи уже не существует...

    Я думаю по-другому. Лучше что-то, чем ничто.
    Сейчас вспомнил рассказ русского писателя Федора Абрамова "Спасибом убил".
    И музыку можно убить хорошей записью...

    Mr. Panovnik,

    Thank you so much for this recital. Even if it is just excerpts, hearing Gilels in his prime live in reasonably good sound is a treasure. I assume the complete recording exists but is buried in bureaucracy. A big occasion like this would have been recorded by Russian radio or Melodiya. Gilels family must have a copy. Regardless, Hofmann recorded just the first movement of the Chopin 3rd Sonata, and how sad it would be if that was scrapped because it was incomplete.
